Becca Demers

Becca is new to ecstatic dance and is excited to be offering this at her new movement studio at The Awake Collective.

Deb Grant (DJ Mudita)

Deb brings her years of somatic work and her love of DJing to this offering.

Sage Hayes (DJ Rockit)

Sage is a somatic body worker and a lover of dance.  She brings years of experience in group and community environments to our organization.  She is committed to creating a safe and accessible environment and will be hosting intro dance classes.

Lea Moon

Lea is passionate about her spiritual practice of Sunday morning ecstatic dance which began in California.  Lea moved back to her home town of Portland in 2008 and realized that she needed to co-create sacred dance space here. She is deeply grateful to all those that DJ, hold space and move together every week at Ecstatic Dance ME.

Aimee Moffitt-Mercer (DJ Bee)

Aimee Moffitt-Mercer of Hope, ME started dancing with Moving Thru in Harrison Maine in 1993 and taking 5Rhythms classes, and have been dancing 5Rhythms ever since.  Journey Dance certified in 2009, Awakening the Dreamer, Changing the Dream Symposium Facilitator 2010. I’m a fabric artist and a Universalist Unitarian Church Administrator since 2002. Mother of a teenager, DJ’s at WRFR a dance music show called Occupy Movement inspiring sacred activism through movement that translates into positive creative change in the world.  And devoted to the sacred honey bee, DJB

Deirdre Sulka-Meister

Deirdre brings her deep passion for the 5rhythms form of Ecstatic Dance to our meetings and to the dance floor.  She is also one of our DJ’s and is excited to be doing more with us in the fall.
